Winning ST Blockade Battlefront by Loading Studi requires two rosters: the character you pilot with Q–B skills and dash, and the Titans you deploy with Cen. This tier list hub explains how we rank both, when patches trigger updates, and where to find deep dives on the character tier list and Titan tier list pages.
Tier List Philosophy
Tiers measure real wave impact in Endless and Nightmare—not cosmetic popularity or meme status. S-tier entries stabilize lanes, accelerate Cen income, or trivialize boss mechanics with reliable cooldowns. D-tier entries are playable but cost more than they return unless you enjoy the kit. We test on live servers, cross-check with community Hell Wave clears, and adjust when developers buff or nerf units.
Tier Definitions
| Tier | Meaning | Expectation |
|---|---|---|
| S | Meta-defining | Pick or buy if available |
| A | Excellent | Strong in most rosters |
| B | Solid | Situational but viable |
| C | Niche | Needs support or buffs |
| D | Weak | Avoid unless fun-only |
S does not mean mandatory. Players beat Hell Wave with A-tier rosters and disciplined buy orders. Tiers shortcut decision fatigue—especially for new players drowning in shop options after redeeming codes.
Characters vs Titans
Characters use your mechanical skill. High tiers combine mobbing, survivability, and boss DPS without locking you in place. They synergize with dash and the full Q–B bar—see PC keybinds if you are learning inputs. Titans are economy pieces. High tiers hold multiple lanes, scale with upgrades, and survive Nightmare speed. Low tiers leak even when you play perfectly.
Special and Quest Units
UTCM, UTSM, Uptati, and other quest Titans live in a separate discussion on the special Titans guide. They can be S-tier in skilled hands but require investment unrelated to standard shop purchases. Our Titan tier list notes which units are quest-gated versus Cen-buyable.
How Patches Change Rankings
Zombie V2, Camera Base tweaks, and Nightmare enrage changes ripple through both lists. A character buff might jump from B to A overnight; a Titan HP nerf might drop an upgrade line from S to B. We monitor Trello and patch notes before editing tiers—avoid stale YouTube thumbnails claiming pre-patch meta.
Using This Hub
Start here for definitions, then open the character rankings if you die to bosses, or the Titan rankings if lanes leak. Pair tier knowledge with Cen farming so you can afford S-tier Titans before wave 40. Sandbox mode tests characters without economy risk.
Tier lists are living documents. Loading Studi ships frequent updates; we would rather move one unit than preserve a outdated S label. Bookmark this hub and the child pages—your Hell Wave 90 clear depends on information as much as mechanics.
Beyond Tier Letters
Rankings summarize hours of playtesting into a letter grade. They do not replace practice: dash timing, keystacks, and helicopter lane rotations still decide close waves. Use tiers to narrow choices, then invest reps in Endless mode and Hell Wave strategy. The best tier list is the one you can execute—not the flashiest screenshot from a creator who never posted wave 90 proof.
